Dr. Judith M. Bedoy

President

Dr. Bedoy is a tenured Pediatrician who has been serving children in an underserved community for the past 20 years. In addition to her medical profession, she has worked as a Sunday School teacher at her local church for 17 years. Her passion as a pediatrician and teacher stems from her desire to help children and youth facing unfortunate circumstances. Establishing Children In Need International has been a dream come true for Dr. Bedoy and she looks forward to impacting the lives of many more children. Aside from her professional life, she is also a mother of teenage twins, enjoys traveling, and reading the Bible and personal growth books.

Jesenia Sanchez

Director

Jesenia is a Public Administrator for over 20 years, working for underserved communities in local governments. She has a Masters Degree in Public Administration and Urban Planning from California State University of Long Beach. Jesenia is an advocate for children with special needs and assists families in understanding and participating in the Special Education Process. Her passion to assist special needs children stems from her own experiences dealing with her daughter, Sarah, who was born blind. Jesenia understands the struggles that special needs children and their families face to receive equal opportunities. She plans to use her education and experience to help bridge the gap of poverty and success for children in underserved communities from around the world.

Eduardo Sanchez

Director

Eduardo Sanchez has been a pastor for 25 years, serving together with his wife, Elizabeth Sanchez, and their four children. Throughout his ministry, he has pastored in an underprivileged community in the Los Angeles area. Pastor Sanchez is also director of the Apostolic Community, a group of independent Apostolic churches based in Southern California. His leadership has always been characterized by his compassion and generosity toward people in need. He brings years of experience, wisdom, and credibility to our organization, as we seek to connect with community leaders around the world.

Caleb Sanchez

Assistant Secretary

Caleb is a graduate of California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor’s in Rhetoric and Composition. He works fulltime as a technical writer. He and his wife are currently youth leaders at their local Apostolic church in Bellflower, CA, where he is also involved in the music ministry. Caleb looks forward to using his experience as a communicator and planner to advance the cause of Children in Need International.

Israel Sanchez

Treasury

Israel works as a full time Technical Writer for Molina Healthcare; a company that provides quality health services to financially vulnerable families. He has assumed leadership roles at this company and has experience in resolving complex patient healthcare issues. Israel also volunteers at his local church in Bellflower, CA, as a Music Director, Musician, and Worship Leader. Israel enjoys working with other churches and establishing quality music departments. His leadership skills and his team spirit has been an asset to our Corporation.

Gretchen Gonzalez

General Secretary

Gretchen is a graduate of California State University Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice Aministration. She has worked as youth director and coordinator for over 10 years. She has also worked with at-risk teens and adults, providing support for those struggling with drug abuse and suicide. Gretchen enjoys helping young people, and she hopes to bring that passion to Children in Need International.

Amy Bedoy

Social Media Manager

Amy is a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has a heart for serving others through both healthcare and missions. As the Social Media Manager for Children in Need International, she loves using creativity to share the organization’s mission, highlight the impact of its outreach efforts, and connect with people who want to make a difference. She is grateful to use her skills to support an organization that is making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families around the world. Amy’s compassion, creativity, and passion for serving others make her a valued member of the Children in Need International team.

Isaac Bedoy

Nutrition Education/Medical Team Leader

Isaac is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor’s in Neurobiology. He has extensive experience providing medical care from his time as an EMT. This clinical skill, paired with his knowledge of nutrition education, allows him to provide quality care to patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring their needs are heard and addressed. He enjoys helping patients from vulnerable populations abroad and at home through his volunteer work with the unhoused population. Isaac’s skills and passion are a vital part of Children in Need International and our goals.
